October Update
The Bassman has been particularly busy of late with a number
of projects coming to the forefront.
A few previously mentioned endeavours have been put on "hold"
for the moment as Dean tackles some tasks both inspiring and intimidating!
RECORDING:
The "maestro" Marc D'Orazio and the seductive Fotini Vrionis
invited Dean to record an R&B track at the Box Hill College of
Music studio. Before the day had turned to night, that famous
Fender V sound was pulsing behind three of Marc and Fotini's original
tracks!
- I Tremble
- Here Now
- Angel on my Shoulder.
Accompanying the sultry vocals of Fotini and the compositional
genius of Marc was inspirational for Dean. The trio met in late
1997 and are happy to have finally combined their immense talent.
Special thanks to Mr. Ben Wheeler for engineering the project.
Atlantis - Planet X:
The irrepressible Nick Carr has decided to tackle the impossible.
He will be performing the Planet X tune, "Atlantis" with, the
aid of Dean Gaudoin on bass, for his final recital at Box Hill
College of Music.
The original track featured Virgil Donati on drums (O.T.V., Freakhouse)
and Derek Sherinian on keyboards (Dream Theater, Platypus). For
those that have not heard the track - it is EXTREMELY INTENSE!
If they do not collapse from exhaustion before-hand, the following
line-up will perform at three recitals and extra modules:
- Nick - Guitar
- Gianni - Keyboards
- Dean - Bass
- Daniel - Drums.
Dean is preparing to capture this momentous event on tape, audio
and video! This is a phenomenally challenging task and has to
be heard and seen to be believed
TERRA3:
Chris -T and WaDE have returned from their successful European
promotional tour and are currently organising the debut Terra
3 gig!
The event is due to take place on Nov 2, 2001 and will no doubt
coincide with some bizarre Halloween ritual!
The hauntingly sexy Chris -T will front the fervent line-up of
Dave Hargreaves, Dean and WaDE. Additional support bands will
also be joining the ceremony!
Further updates entailing gig details and recording notes will
be posted as they come to hand!
