SUPERKATZ IN OMAN:
The Bassman has just returned from another successful tour of the
Middle East. The ‘Intercontinental Hotel’ in Muscat,
Oman, was home, six-nites-a-week, to “SuperkatZ”
as the band continued it’s extensive touring.
This was an amazing time and a very memorable gig.
Thanks to all at the ‘InterCon’, and the bands: ‘HighLites’
and ‘Axent’.
Special thanks to Lamya and Christophe for your support and friendship.
SCREAMING SYMPHONY:
The “Xtreme Measures” rhythm section (from Hell!) have
created radio history on the 3PBS FM ‘Screaming
Symphony’ show.
For the first time ever, two band members were interviewed together
from two different countries.
Dean phoned in from Muscat, Oman in the Middle East on December
21, 2004, as Daniel was being interviewed live in the PBS studios.
Gary and Peter discussed the release of the “XM” album,
in it’s full pressing complete with artwork, with the rhythm
section.
A big thankyou to Peter, Gary and Dan for making this possible.
The album is available from ‘Radical Records’, Dandenong
and ‘Drumtek’, Northcote.
The “XM” cd can also be purchased on-line from “CD
Baby” for a very special price of USD $12.97.
Stay tuned for more “Xtreme Measures” news in the near
future.
CHAOS THEORY:
After learning an album’s worth of new material in two days,
the Bassman is back in Oz and playing with the heavy metal band,
“CHAOS
THEORY”!
This hard hitting original band features twin lead guitar attack,
great vocals and some supreme musicianship.
Dean has already played “DETOX” @ ‘Dream’
and “REVOLVER” with the band.
Thanks to Leanne and the “CT” boys and the bands we
have played with: “Vendetta”, “Stealing O’Neil”,
“In Malice’s Wake” and “Drowning Girl”.
More “CHAOS
THEORY” gigs and dates TBA.
LUTHOR:
The Bassman will be working with metal band “LUTHOR”
in the near future. The band features Dean Burgess at the helm on
vocals and guitar.
