MAY - SEP 2003.
BAHRAIN BLITZ!:
The Bassman is still working hard in the Middle East armed
with his Fender bass and the Trace rig from hell!
The new band - "PSYKO X" are working six nights a week with the
welcome addition of Jamal on the drumkit and Vicki on vocals!
The new line-up is pumping out some incredible sets and covering
even more of the musical spectrum.
Thanks to special guest, Ayoob, who added a Latino vibe with
his conga mastery.
Still in the "land of confusion" (Bahrain), Dean has been collaborating
with Mr. Vance and Ms. Rosa in some of the best original compositions
to date! The Bassman layed down some, deep, heart-felt grooves
to the awesome sound of Vance's guitar and drums, while the incredible
vocals of Rosa brought to the songs a "life" undreamed of.
Dean is in the process of putting together an eclectic blend
of original ideas which will feature his electric bass prowess.
In addition to bass and vocals, the Bassman has also recorded
some tracks with the didgeridoo (an indigenous Australian Aborigine
instrument) which adds a new darkness to the sombre compositions.
DRUMS OF DOOM!:
The rhythmic monster that is Daniel Luttick appeared at
The Ultimate Drummers Weekend 2003 in June. Daniel (from "Xtreme
Measures" fame) delivered a demonic performance for Premier Drums,
Sabian Cymbals and Vater Drumsticks.
Pre-release copies of his first solo c.d. sold out in minutes
proving that Daniel is, indeed, the ultimate drummer of doom.
The "Rhythm Section from Hell" (Dan and Dean) look forward to
yet another reunion.
Another drummer to watch out for is Christian Nativo. A friend
of Xtreme Measures and The Bassment, Chris has his own new site
up and running. Look out for this young, talented player.

And be sure to check out what Daniel Luttick is up to at his
very own, great web-site.

the bands masterpiece, were rewarded.

That brings us up to date in what has been an insane and intense
few months in the Middle East for the Bassman.
Special thanks to: Xistance, Xtreme Measures, Emma Sidney and
Dave Hargreaves for keeping me in touch with "reality".
Thanks to Scotty and Chocky for justifying my insanity with their
own madness.
Stay tuned for further updates and the start of the Bassman’s
lesson page!
Up the Iron’s!
